an effort to promote the beautiful World Heritage cultural sites of the island such as the fortress, which was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1999.<\/p>\nWe\u2019re often asked: \u201cAre the tours really free?\u201d<\/p>\n
Absolutely! Unlike traditional tours, we do no charge for our experience. However, if you enjoy the tour, our local guides will graciously accept your tips and compliments, for they have spent countless hours investigating the history and perfecting these tour experiences for you.<\/p>\n
Our hope is that by and creating this program together with the best local guides, we create a \u201cwin-win\u201d for everyone. Additionally, along the way we open the door for more wonderful things to discover in our marvellous Walled City, and around the Island. as well. Furthermore it gives opportunity to expand the network of people who\u2019ve fallen in love with our monumental city, who then become our ambassadors.<\/p>\n
